You can generate ‘Life Certificate’ online for pension, know step by step method

Life certificate ‘life certificate’ is required to be given to pensioners for regular pension. In November, a ‘life certificate’ has to be presented in person every year. The ‘Life Certificate’ can also be generated online. Pensioners can produce digital life certificates using a software application and secure Aadhaar based biometric authentication system. Digital life certificates can be accessed by pensioners and PDAs if necessary.




What is needed to create a ‘Digital Life Certificate’

The pensioner should have an Aadhaar number.
The pensioner must have an existing mobile number.
For the certificate, pensioners must first register with the ‘Life Proof’.

How to register

Step 1: First of all download the ‘Jeevan Pramaan’ app and open it.

Step 2: Now, go to the new registration.

Step 3: Enter Aadhaar number, bank account number and name, mobile number, pension payment order (PPO).

Step 4: Click on OTP Send. An OTP will be found on your number.

Step 5: Enter ‘OTP’ and authenticate using Aadhaar.

Step 6: Now, click on submit. After verification, a proof ID will be generated.

How to generate ‘Life Certificate’ online

Step 1: Enter the ‘Jeevan Pramaan’ app using proof ID and OTP.

Choose Step 2 :: ‘Generate Jeevan Pramaan’ and enter the Aadhaar number, mobile number.

Step 3: Click on Generate OTP.

Step 4: Once the OTP is received, enter it.

Step 5: Enter PPO number, name, name of the lending agency etc.

Step 6: Scan the fingerprint / iris and authenticate it using Aadhaar data. The life proof will appear on the screen and a confirmation message will be sent to the pensioner’s mobile number.
