Today Aadhaar has become an important part of our life. Every person gives his Aadhar card to prove his identity. Aadhar card is also demanded in government offices to prove identity. Aadhaar is also demanded for buying a house or shop on rent or for buying a SIM card.
With the increase in demand, the incidents of getting fraudulent Aadhar cards have also increased in the country. Many times people give fake Aadhar card to avoid the hassle of identification. In view of this, the Unique Identification Authority of India (UIDAI) has started the facility to identify Aadhaar. Under this, any person can identify whether the Aadhaar is real or fake sitting at home. So far, Aadhar cards have been issued to more than 129 crore people of the country.
How to identify Aadhaar
- To identify Aadhaar, first you have to go to uidai.com.
- Here, going inside the My Aadhaar section, click on Verify an Aadhaar Number in the Aadhaar Services section.
- On clicking on Verify an Aadhaar Number, a new page will open.
- On this page, you have to submit the 12 digit Aadhaar number.
- Then the captcha code given below has to be submitted.
- After that click on Proceed to Verify.
- If the Aadhaar number is wrong then the process of Proceed to Verify will not be done.
- After this you will get the information related to Aadhaar.
Will get this information
- After the verification of Aadhaar is completed, you will get information about the Aadhaar number.
- If the aadhar is genuine then a right click mark will appear with the letter ‘Aadhaar Number Exists’ written.
- Apart from this, information about the age of the Aadhar card holder will also be visible.
- You will also get information about whether the Aadhar card holder is male or female.
- You will also get information about which state the Aadhar card holder is residing.
