YouTube is releasing a strong fund of $ 100 million for the Shorts app in many countries including India.
With this, YouTube creators can earn up to $ 10,000 per month based on the views and engagement of the shooters.
New Delhi. YouTube is launching its own separate Shots app on the lines of the Chinese video app Tiktok. YouTube is releasing a strong fund of $100 million for the Shorts app in many countries including India. With this, during the financial year 2021-22, YouTube creators can earn from Rs 7,400 ($ 100) to Rs 7,40,000 ( $ 10,000) every month through shortcuts. This payment will be made on the basis of the views and engagement of the shots. This fund will be available in select countries during July 2021. These include India, Brazil, Japan, Russia, UK, USA, South Africa, Nigeria, Indonesia and Mexico.
‘Any creators can participate’
YouTube said that every month we will reach out to thousands of creators to claim payment from this $100 million fund. This fund will help build a monetization model for shorts on YouTube. This is not limited to creators in the YouTube Partner Program. Any creator can participate.
With the launch of Shorts Fund, creators and artists will now get a chance to earn big every month on YouTube. YouTube’s Chief Business Officer Robert Kinkle said that advertising is at the root of creators’ earnings. Creators get the largest share of revenue from ads on YouTube.

What Creators Will Earn in Many Ways is YouTube Premium Paid Subscriptions, which provide members with ad-free content, background playback, downloads and access to premium content for the YouTube Music app.
The company said that YouTube partners get a major part of the subscription revenue. With channel membership, creators can provide exclusive features and content to viewers who join their channels as monthly paying members at a cost set by the creator. Additionally, the monetization feature called ‘Super Chat’ has highlighted messages in the chat stream, which will grab the attention of their favorite creators.
