Under the Yuva Swabhiman scheme, amendments have been made by Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister Kamal Nath on 1st February 2020. Under the scheme, 100 days of employment was being provided to unemployed youth of the state earlier, which has been increased by the state government after revision of the scheme to 365 working days (100 days of employment has been increased to 365 days). Under this Yuva Mom Scheme 2020, a monthly salary of Rs. 4000 /- (total Rs. 13000 per year) was being paid in the first 100 days of employment which has been increased to Rs. 5000 per month (total Rs. 60000 in a year).

The amendment under this scheme of Madhya Pradesh will benefit the urban educated, uneducated economically weaker youth of the state and they will be able to maintain their livelihood until they get a good job. The amendment made under the scheme is an attempt to create employment and boost the economy. The annual income of the family of youth applying under MP Yuva Yasmin Yojana 2020 should be 2 lakh or less only if the beneficiaries can avail the benefit of the scheme.

The main objective of the scheme is to impart skill training to unemployed youth of Madhya Pradesh with 365 days of employment and to make youth self-reliant, provide financial assistance to vulnerable urban youth and reduce unemployment and empower youth. Enable MP Yuva Honour Yojana 2020 to seek permanent employment in future by training skill development as per the interest of beneficiaries.
